The turbine is made of a light weight aluminium alloy that has a fluorocarbon protective coating. This material is rust and corrosion proof. The material thickness is lower than that of the Twister. This light weight material means that the turbine is of a lighter weight, good in that it turns easier in the wind but bad that it cannot withstand very high wind conditions.

It contains two high quality NSK bearings, self lubricating and sealed which further means no maintenance. This Turbine is responsive to even the slightest breeze, outdoing the responsiveness of the well known Twister turbine. As with the previous turbines this turbine is waterproof and dust repellent. This is due to the centrifugal forces of the spinning turbine that repel water and the double curved vanes that channel water away from entering the turbine. Material

As with the previous turbines this turbine is waterproof and dust repellent. This is due to the centrifugal forces of the spinning turbine that repel water and the double curved vanes that channel water away from entering the turbine.

Maintenance free
There is no need for maintenance as well as no running costs. This is due to the bearings, which are the only wearing parts, these bearings are sealed and self lubricated therefore don’t need to be maintained. This turbine is also the lowest cost aluminum turbine on the market. The extraction rates have been tested. Although the product has not been SABS tested.

Size and colour
The LP Vent is available in two sizes; 500mm and 600mm. The colour available is grey metal, the turbines can be painted to match the finish.
