Introduction

Without compromising on Seeley's standards, the Coolair® CPL ranges' affordability and performance make it an option for all environments. The variable speed motor which is which its rigorously tested, has a reliable axial fan which is designed for quietness, high aerodynamic efficiency and a constant, even airflow over the cooling pads. The world patented AQUAflow™ water distribution system delivers continuous, even water coverage to the special 90mm thick Chillcel® pads, ensuring maximum cooling effect.

Controls

The Coolair® Climate control is an incredibly easy control to use. All CPL model coolers are supplied with a custom thermostat, for fully automatic control. Just set your preferred comfort level on the clever wall mounted control and Coolair® will do the rest in a quick, clean and reliable fashion. The control contains four convenient modes to choose from - manual, auto, timer or vent. Your Coolair® system will always maintain your desired comfort level just the way you want it. A three meter long plug is supplied as standard on all models. Provision is included for plug-in connection of drain valve and solenoid kits. (Optional parts)

Airflow performance

General specifications

Cabinet
The cabinet components are injection moulded structural foam poly-propylene (Permatuff). The colours are UV stabilised and corrosion free. The major components clip together without additional fasteners. The pump is secured with two stainless steel screws.

Fan
The fan is a multi blade assembly constructed of glass reinforced polypropylene. The blades are aerofoil shaped, and are factory set to the optimum blade pitch to match the motor output. The fan is mounted directly to the motor shaft by means of a 5/6" grub screw.

Water Reservoir
The water reservoir is a one piece injection moulding of structural foam poly-propylene (Permatuff), providing a thick walled, corrosion free component with excellent sound deadening properties.

Fan motors
Single phase, permanent split capacitor (P.S.C) motors, with extruded aluminium frame. IP21 rating enclosures to AS1359. The motor and fan assembly are supported on the injection moulded ABS venture ring by four stainless steel mounting brackets. The fan motor is fitted with a polarised plug for quick removal and replacement. This reduces the weight of the assembly for installation.

Weather damper
The weather damper consists of two semi-circular blades, hinged and counterbalanced, to open automatically when the fan is activated, and to close when the fan is switched off. Latching is by magnets to stainless steel striker plates.

Dropper duct
The dropper duct must incorporate a raw edge or safe edge to avoid fouling the weather damper.

Electrical control
The electrical control box incorporates an isolating switch and an intergral circuit breaker. A three meter long lead and plug is supplied as atandard on all models. Provision is included for plug-in connection of drain valve and solenoid kits. (optional parts)

Thermostat control
All CPL model coolers are supplied with a custom thermostat, for fully automatic control. Connection of thermostat to control box is via the twenty meter low voltage wiring loom supplied.

Water connection
Water supply connection is a ½" BSP external nipple. A ball type isolating valve must be fitted adjacent to the cooler for service. The water distribution system is an intergral part of the lid, and can be readily viewed from the top by removing the pad frame assembly.

Filter pads
Filter pads are Chillcel, honeycomb, high effeciency type, operating saturation effeciencies vary from 80% to 86%.

Special features
CPL coolers are available in four colours, "Slate Grey", "Terracotta", "Beige", and "Heritage Green".
