Indoor air quality solutions
Turbo Vent Africa (Pty) Ltd seeks to help Southern Africa improve its indoor air quality (IAQ). Turbovent markets and delivers IAQ solutions to a broad spectrum of clients and industries throughout Southern Africa. In order to inform people of the benefits of improved IAQ, and to make IAQ solutions readily available with on-site support, Turbo Vent has established a growing network of carefully selected, highly trained Dealers, conveniently located throughout Southern Africa.
Well established
Turbo Vent was established in March 1990 to market and distribute the well-known "Whirlybird" wind-driven Turbo Vent. Over the years, other turbine ventilators complemented the Whirlybird - some larger (Twister) and some smaller (SupaVent), assuring our customers of the best solution for their needs.
Turbo Vent recognised that, in many instances, ventilation is only a partial solution. Ventilation cannot cool the interior of a building below the temperature of ambient air outside the building. Yet, it is often desirable, or necessary, to further cool the air contained by the building. Evaporative cooling was seen as an ideal solution. Evaporative air conditioning not only cools the air within a building to a lower temperature than the ambient air, but it ventilates the space at the same time at a much lower cost to traditional air-conditioning. Turbo Vent chose to import the Breezair range of evaporative coolers. Breezair is manufactured in Australia by Seeley International. There is no doubt that Breezair is the world's most technologically advanced evaporative air conditioner, having won many international awards for quality and reliability.
The comprehensive Breezair range enables Turbo Vent to satisfy the most challenging demands. Over the years, many thousands of Breezair and turbine ventilator systems have been installed in Southern Africa in industrial, residential and commercial settings. We have specialized installation solutions for factories, warehouses, homes, shops, offices, agricultural barns, horticultural enclosures, schools, churches, and so on.
